Stephen Basdeo
I am interested in all aspects of 18th- and 19th-century social and cultural history, although my research has led me into a few areas of focus, in particular the history of crime, criminal biography, and there will always be a special place in my heart for the periodicals of Joseph Addison and Sir Richard Steele. My PhD thesis, however, examines 18th- and 19th-century literary representations of Robin Hood.
